Oregon Honeycomb

This year, I started a new project with fellow music teachers, Eliza Naomi and Noah Tretter, called Oregon Honeycomb. Eliza’s rich vocals and cello, Noah’s guitar, and my voice and piano come together to create something special.

Each of us wrote a song for our upcoming EP, and I’m thrilled to share the first track, Hunger, which I wrote. Recorded and mixed by Edwin Paroissien at Echo Hill Studios, stay tuned for the whole EP!

Seasons: 

A Year of Music, Art, and Storytelling

My journey as an independent artist began with the ambitious project "Seasons." This year-long venture was not just about releasing music but creating an immersive experience that combined sound, visual art, and storytelling. Each EP within "Seasons" represents a different time of the year, reflecting the moods and emotions that each season brings.

Through a successful crowdfunding campaign, I was able to bring this vision to life. 

Say Hello: 

Following the success of "Seasons," I embarked on a new journey with the EP "Say Hello." This project was a collaboration with my friend, student and incredibly talented lyricist Cortnie Graham. Her words carried a depth and rawness, weaving beautiful portraits of the human experience.

Our work together developed a rhythm; Cortnie would bring her prose, and I’d create the musical landscapes for them to inhabit. "Say Hello" delves into themes of depression and relationships, encouraging listeners to take a moment to appreciate life's small, fragrant moments.

Drink The Punch

After moving to Oregon, I discovered a local music competition called "Make A Band." It was a thrilling opportunity to dive into the local music scene, and I was fortunate enough to become the lead singer of The Bland Tangerines. Within six weeks, we prepared and performed a twenty-minute set of original songs, culminating in winning the 'Best Original Song' award.

The victory earned us the opportunity to record "Drink The Punch" at the renowned Gung Ho Studio with Billy Barnett.
